VLOG Katoomba

Good morning!

Once again the internet has broken down completely at the hostel and so it takes a year and a half to upload the videos. Here’s the VLOG from day 2 in Katoomba. Uploading our adventure video to Katoomba Falls right now and hope to be able to update the site tonight.

VLOG Last day in Glebe

Finally!

After several days of non existent internet connections we have access to one that works. Hence it’s time to start uploading my VLOGS. This one is from the last day in Glebe when we were just about to check out from the Haven inn.

Good morning everyone!

We’re now at day two of our stay in Kotoomba and despite the tiny closet like bedroom and the lack of AC in the 30 degree night, we managed to get some sleep.

We started the day today with a walk to Echo Point which is a great site for viewing the Blue Mountains or the “blueies” as the locals call them.

I have a few videos coming up with video blogs (in swedish unfortunately for some) that explain even further what’s going on.

That’s all for now!

The Journey Down Under

Hi!

This is a video made up from the clips made during the trip from Stockholm to Sydney and the visualization of the sleep deprived adventure it became.

I apologize to any international viewers that it is in swedish. I’m not going to translate that entire thing though. If you want to, just watch it and you might just get the jist of what we are feeling at the different stages of the trip.

Also, somehow my editing program decided that a preposterous aspect ratio would do fine for the video so it’s alot more stretched out than it ought to be. I hope to be able to fix that soon enough.

That’s it for now!

The Arrival in Sydney

Howdy friends!

The day has come and passed for our departure and arrival in Sydney, Australia. The journey was an adventurous one with some potential huge setbacks but we managed to get through it without much sleep . Since then we have come up with great ideas to make our stay here as comfortable, cheap and sustainable as possible as we quickly realized we are going to be here for a while.

The journey down here is all cought on tape with my GoPro and it’s been uploading to YouTube for.. well it’s going on somewhere around 13 hours now. Thank god for 1080p, right?

Anyways, today I took the first big step towards the adventure of a lifetime by buying my first motorcycle and it’s a darn good one. I got a BMW F650 CS from 2003 with ABS, heated grips, built in stereo and some other nifty features that will come in handy. I bought the bike from a lovely man with a lovely wife who made me promise to drive carefully and to keep them updated on how our journey goes.

That’s when we realized that there will probably be a bunch more non swedish speaking people interested in our adventure so I have decided to do my posts in english from now on.

If you are one of the few swedes without excellent understanding of the english language, please leave a comment on any of my posts and I might just translate it for you!

That’s all for now, as it is bedtime over here.
